For most college students, spring break means it’s time to hit the beach. But students from Howard University are using their week off classes to help others, and they’ve come all the way to St. Louis to do it.
Covenant House Missouri hosted over 70 executives both in-person at Harris-Stowe State University and virtually for its annual Sleep Out: Executive Edition on Thursday, November 18. Executives from Northwestern Mutual, Ascension, Edward Jones, World Wide Technology, and other companies slept outside in the cold weather to raise awareness of youth homelessness.
Covenant House Missouri welcomes three new members to its now twenty-two-member board of directors, adding expertise from a diverse range of areas.
Irasa Downing, Ryan Litteken, and Michael Rupinski all continue to demonstrate their dedication to the St. Louis Community through their new board member roles. Their talents and passion for improving lives of young people will be an asset to CHMO’s mission of guiding youth from homelessness to hope.
