1988

Covenant House began a small outreach program in St. Louis, and within a year the program expanded to a community service center. In June 2001, Covenant House Missouri was formally established when we opened our Transitional Living Program Village.

2008

CHMO consolidated all of the St. Louis service sites into one building on North Kingshighway. Today this site is home to crisis beds, transitional living beds, an array of supportive services, as well as administrative offices.

2014

With the help of its Board of Directors, volunteers, staff and the youth we serve, CHMO developed a three-year strategic plan. The plan's platform is a commitment to the mental health of youth we serve. Through expanded services, staff realignment and a shift to a clinical model of Trauma Informed Care we will be more equipped to meet our youth where they are and support them more effectively as they design their own path to independence.
